I Got a pertronix ignition for my 3000 and installed per the instructions. It starts and runs for 2 seconds and dies.I
called pertronix tech and they said if I have solid core plug wires it won't work right and could damage the module.I
just replaced the plug wires this spring with ones from YT.I know the wires are connected right or it would not
start. The magnet is seated on the dist.shaft but the dust cover will not fit down all the way.Pertronix said thro it
away I don't need it.Also I could barely get a piece of paper between the magnet and the module.
Thanks for anyones help or info.
