5 years ago I bough a 1950 Farmall C with 5 ft woods belly mower
$1500. Engine was totally rebuilt, all good rubber, 12v. Needed a
new coat of lipstick. Runs great.

I think you right on the money,a fast hitch would bump it to $2,000.00. Now if I am buying, I will give you $500.00 :)

I've seen some pretty nice ones bring in the 800 to 1500 range in ohio with good paint and tires.

A 1950 would be a C, and would not have a water pump.

The water pump was added on the Super C when the engine was bumped up to 123 cubic inches. You will also notice a 2" gap between the hydraulic block and fuel tank on a Super C that is not on a C. This is to accommodate the taller radiator that came with the water pump.

The water pump is on the lower left front corner of the engine, connected directly to the lower radiator hose, not on the fan as you would normally think.

Mowers don't add much value. The mowers will interchange to other tractors, but the brackets won't. A zero turn mower will cut your mowing time in less than half and won't track up your yard. You can'take get in corners or close to trees and no live pto with that outfit and no good on hills.I tried that 20 years ago.
