Used the tractor Sunday afternoon, needed to use it yesterday afternoon, would not hit a lick. Ran great Sunday. Changed the fuel filter, didn't notice anything unusual, bled the system, I think, working by myself, so guessing I had good fuel coming out of the vents at the pump which is on the other side than the pump you use to bleed the air out. Hit the starter, turns over real good, won't even try to crank. Will try again shortly. Am I missing something? I have to read on what to do, worked other crafts so not up to date on tractors, cutters, rakes or balers. Don't mind doing my hobby though.

On my 5105 I installed an electric fuel pump. Makes getting the air bleed out way easier !
I also had a relay that feed power to the inj. pump drop out power when cranking. Check for power at the inj. pump when switch is turned on and also while cranking it over.

Try disconnecting the cold start sensor on neck that top radiator hose attaches to. this sensor has a long'long history of shorting out. also check for & replace blown fuse.

I didn't say this at first, I did bleed the filter and had fuel coming from the side of the pump & return line. Just don't know if air was coming also.

I have looked for this fuse, but have not found it yet. Give a hint, must be an in line fuse somewhere. I'm headed out now to look at "locating fusible link" that's in my operators manual. Nothing blown in the fuse box underneath the stirring wheel. I have the sensor disconnected, pump don't click when I turn the key on.

Might be those relays. Mine had a large box full of them and the owners manual does not tell what they run and neither does the relay box cover. I think the service manual may ? I pulled all mine out as they were alike and cleaned them up and put them back in different spots and it worked again.

OK, the inj. pump works off the flasher fuse. Book says nothing about that and for sure, I'm not the best at this type of work. Give me an Oil Refinery/chemical plant and I'll feel at home. Can take either apart and put it back together.
