I've decided to get back into Auctioneering and the wife and I worked yesterday trying to find a gavel with a western hat hanging on it so my business cards would match the back of my jacket that I bought 25 years ago. We had absolutely no luck finding anything like it at all. Just wondering is some of you guys that are computer literate could steer me in the right direction. Keith
 
I'm not any good with graphic arts, but it might help if you could post a pic of your jacket.

I gotta applaud you, being able to jabber and chatter that fast. I certainly couldn't do it! Nope, my claim to fame is being long-winded. *lol*
 
The odds of you finding something like that, that isn't already a registered trademark or intellectual property of someone else, are pretty slim.

Think of it like putting the McDonald's logo on your business card and calling it your own. You'd be up to your eyeballs in cease and desist notices, and lawyers, so fast it would make your head spin.

There are places that can draw up what you want, based on your jacket, for fairly cheap. That's the only way to make it unique so it's yours. Sign shops, places that do custom printed T-shirts, are a couple of ideas. If they don't do it in-house they likely know a graphic designer who does that stuff for them.

Nice thing about the T-shirt shop is they can print up shirts and hats for your staff so you all look uniform and professional.
 

If you find it, it will be called "clip art" and most clip art is free. If there is a fee it is generally small. Good luck!
 

If you google "auctioneer clipart" you get over 400,000 hits. I didn't see exactly what you are looking for, but there are hundreds of thousands of auctioneer clipart images out there for free.
 
Posting a picture of the jacket might allow it to be reformatted into the logo the OP desires. Jim desire
