So far I have checked with Tucker tire and Miller and 2 local places. Ticker wants $5?? plus shipping so total is around $650. Miller wants $545 plus shipping if i remember right. One local place says $500 and another place some 25-30 miles from me wants $300 for a what they call good used tire. Plus the place that wants $300 say they do not make the 14.9X38 tire any more so how is it I can find them new??

If i buy local that is out the door and mounting would be $50-100 but still better then any body else so far. Not sure on the used ones but think I would prefer to go with a new one instead of making a $300 gamble on a used one. If they had said $100-150 for the used one I might go for it but $300 to much of a gamble

Last year I put 18.2 34 on my 4020. Was told they don't make that size any longer. Well I found out they do. Only thing is a 18.2 34 from India and a 18.2 34 from say Goodyear is not the same tire. Yes it has 18.2 34 on the side wall and will fit the rim just fine but you only have about a 15" tread face from the India supplier. The other difference is two India tires cost what one Goodyear cost. Just saying check all spec before you buy.

I am on Craig's list every time I am on line and check for tires there. There is one guy who lists cheap tractor tires which i did call after i had posted this and his price is around $545. Not seen any 14.9X38 on Craig's list that I can eve never remember seeing. I have not checked Y-T but figure if I found any on Y-T they would be way to far away

Tucker and Miller and the local place all said the tires are Atlas brand so there the same tire just different prices or at least that is what it would seem

Have you checked with Tire Town in Shawnee, Kansas? I bought a pair of 13.6 X 38 Ag-Pro tires (8-Ply) a year ago for $750.00.

A story about Tucker Tire of Dyersburg, TN. Last year I called and checked for four tires and rims for the 4x4 tractor. They had Titans, we agreed on a price, I told them I would come and get them to save on shipping (and so I could see them first) on a particular day.
I drove 4 hours to get there and the fellow I called said they weren't there, somebody must've sold them. I was fit to be tied! Drove all that way for nothing. Hadn't been that angry in many years. I won't ever give them my business.
