Hey,yesterday my 31 year old son gave me a 20 cause I didn't have any cash in my pocket. One of the guys I was with sure thought that was odd. Happy Father's day to all you dads.
 
Reminds me of a time a few years ago when my wife, our daughter, my sister and I went out to eat to celebrate my birthday.

I got stuck with the bill for all four of us.
 
Jon, I'm not sure if your kids and my kids are related, or if it's part of a standard school curriculum, but that was exactly how it worked. lol
 
Yep, daughter came over yesterday so we could all go out for lunch for Fathers Day.

Mom picked up the bill.

Pretty sure daughter hit her up for money too!
 
Our daughter is now 14. Several years ago she wanted to order pizza one night and told her Mom as much. The reply was that if she had the money to do it, to go ahead. She said she had the money.....

My wife said the next thing she sat down, our daughter sat down and started putting on her shoes. When asked what she was doing, she said she had to 'go see Dad in the shop'. When asked why, it was because, 'My money is in Dad's wallet'.

We still give her a hard time over it, and get a good laugh out of that one.
 

I remember when the boys were small and I never had any change because they would get it to buy soda/candy bar etc. Now that they are grown, I have way too much change. Truck has a ton in it. Dresser has way too much on it. It's everywhere. I tell people that I could tell when the kids got grown because I always have change...lol
