RIP Adam West

His Batman was kind of a silly show but I don't think the material needed to be bleak like today's fare. The material will never be considered Shakespearean but it was entertaining especially when the guest "villains" such as Frank Gorshin and Cesar Romero gave it their best effort.

BAM! POW! Yep very entertaining and I almost felt like he was laughing behind the mask in those shows.

There is at least 2 other posts saying the same thing. I was the first to post this in tractor tales then some one else posted it here on tractor talk

My apologies but I very seldom go over on tales and probably click less than half of the items here. I did not see anything expressly titled about West here.

Batman in "Tractor Tales?" How does that work? Never go there but I assumed it was an area with stories about tractors?

I hated Batman. Nothing against Adam West. The show was pure crap in my scale of relativity. Maybe I am not "cultured" enough to appreciate "camp." I like SpongeBob Squarepants a lot better. Weird and funny.

88 years old, his death certainly is no tragedy. If I can make it to 75, I will be beating out all the other men in my family.

Other than Lee Meriwether as Catwoman in the movie and possibly the lady that replaced her for the show, the male characters to me seemed a bit out of the closet openly...flamboyant.

Holy Heaps of steel Batman ! Tens upon tens of tenacious tractor technicians. Have you ever seen so many old iron lovers ? All this green and red must mean must mean the Joker is about.

Batman a Deere fan?

Did ya'll hear the joke about Batman and Robin and what they called after getting run over by a train? They were called flatman and ribbon after that....lol :D
