My son's car. 4.0 L V-6. Leak appears to be above water pump and head gasket level. Steady stream coming out. Cannot quite see where it is coming from. Front end of engine on drivers side. Could it be a gasket for intake manifold. Is the manifold heated? Trying to find out some info before starting to take parts off. He had a manual, but it disappeared! Might be in my shop, but I don't think so.
Thanks in advance. Will report progress or no progress.

There is a plastic thermostat housing there if I remember right and those leak , many times the plastic crumbles around where the o-ring type seal goes

Most common leak is an intake manifold gasket. That engine has a weak point there. Head gaskets do not leak on them as a rule. Not a terribly difficult job. But, do get a manual and follow the torque specifications. They do not take a lot of torque, and over tightening them will cause problems.
