Ih museums in iowa

I know of the one at Avoca, and Kinzebaum has a huge collection at Williamsburg, but do not know if that is open to the public.

I have my H.

Machinery Pete did a video several months ago of Kuster's IH museum in GALVA, ILLINOIS. They have several first serial number IH's. Galva is about 50 miles east then south of the Mississippi River on I-80, not in Iowa at all.

While not a "tractor" museum, we stopped by a museum in Fergus Falls, MN that was wonderful! Was about life in the old days - had lots of old tools, mock cabins and such. If you ever get that way, I don't think you'd be disappointed.

There some in Griswold IA , there is one IH one owned by the Rush family on main street and a couple others, Ford and AC around there the last I knew.

The museum I believe you are referring too is the Rush museum in Griswold. The owner has recently passed and the museum is closed. Lots of old cars and IH tractors. Dont know if an auction will be happening or not.

Galva, IL on US 34. Would suggest taking US 150 south from I-280(Moline,IL) to IL 17 (south edge of Alpha, IL) and then east on 17 to US 34. Continue east on 34 into Galva. Approximately 30 miles total from I-280
