530 John Deere Baler twine arm

I had to replace the cylinder on the twine arm on my 530 John Deere hay baler tonight.

Haven't tried bleeding the cylinder yet. I read on this site at one time how to puge the air from the system, but I can't find the post.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Move tailgate valve to lock position, raise tension arm until "3+" can be seen in bale size window, engage tractor pto lever, set engine speed at about 2000 rpm's,pull rope to engage twine pump drive belt. Repeat pulling rope several times after twine arm has cycled to purge air out of twine cylinder & hoses. If twine tube is hesitant to move open twine control CCW to allow a larger amount oil through cylinder. After cylinder has been purged of air then turn twine control valve back to original setting.
