I have a John Deere 2510 with the roll-o-matic front end
One wheel is stuck up in the air and the other stuck down does anyone know what would cause this or a fix
Thanks

I snapped one side right off my 3010 one time. For something that there isn't any demand for,the bone yards sure want a lot for them.

I have welded up worn teeth and made new teeth on those arms before. You need a real good welding rod. Certainium 707 is what I think I was told to use. Had a hard time finding it last time, but supply shop converted it to another brand. This rod gets hard and welds have to be ground down and to shape.

(quoted from post at 18:52:02 05/30/17) If you use the tractor you WILL see the difference.

My dad bought one of the first 4010s in our part of the country. It was equipped with the roll-a-matic. A few years later we added a 3020 with the conventional narrow front. Niether of us could detect one speck of difference in how the 2 tractors rode or handled. The roll-a-matic was a marketing ploy. It served no other purpose.

For what it's worth, the guy who invented the roll-a-matic approached IH before John Deere. IH experimented with it, even installed a prototype on a Farmall B. The engneers at IH were not impressed and rejected the whole concept.

Will differ on that opinion. A rollo-matic has much less front end up down bob than a single feont wheel or a narrow rowcrop front .

Roll-O-Matic made more difference on tractors that didn't have power steering. Power steering doesn't allow the wheel to jerk out of your hands like the it would on the older tractors.
