Silly question on here I bet, but I see an 1155 Massey on CL and I am like gotta have! Will not get it, but I sure look at the ad enough times! LOL

Yep, 2 years ago a neighbor had a 4690 Case for sale....didn't need it, but I drove it home. Love the tractor!

It will pass on to another tractor! LOL It is worse right now cause I have the money for it, but the problem is I need other stuff worse. Sigh

Procrastination is your friend!!! When I see one like that that I don't need but think I have to have, I just wait and wait and by the time I've decided to buy it, it is already sold. Problem solved. Chris

My same approach. HOWEVER - there was this 40/MT crawler/dozer, that, due to lack of 'silly' $ I left alone for a year or 2 - not completely, talked to the guy, checked it out (perfect for my needs), the funds thing lasted a while - THEN, badabing ! the $ came available - you guessed it, 5 days late, and sold for 1/2 of my plan. Gotta love it. I'm the guy that sees something that is common use around the claim (say paper towels ) on sale for 1/2 price or less and only buys 2 packs ! ;^)

Here's just a few of mine I don't need. Someone asked how many tractors do you need for 3 acres. As many as I can fit.

Yes, anytime I see a nice late model 930 Case I think I'd like to have it. I had a really nice one back in the late seventies and I still miss that tractor. Would be great for rock picking, haybine and who knows what else.

Oh but I do! Not as bad as some other models, namely a 2805,or my dream tractor, a 3545 mfwd! Call me silly if you want but doesn't a Massey man need a 1155 like a Deere guy needing a 4020 or a Oliver guy needing a 2255?

There is a 2150 Oliver I keep thinking about buying, pushing a little snow with it would be the only thing I'd use it for,had a Allis Chalmers 210 for awhile no use for that either
finally ended up selling it.

I only have 4! My daughter had a new bus driver and overheard them say she lives were the Oliver tractors are. She thought it was funny that we have landmark's.

Brown Swiss,
Sometimes I buy thing and later find out how nice it is to use them.

As for buying more tractors just to collect them is not in my future. However, I will buy anything I need. When it comes to tractors, there is nothing on my bucket list that I have a need for.

Don't get me wrong it was a nice looking tractor but would cost a fortune to work on. It had absolutely no lugging power, worked good if it was not pulled down. In the end it was used on a lagoon pump, sold it after the hog were gone.

When I was younger I had a favorite uncle that had a John Deere MT. That was the only John Deere around, and I always wanted one because that was what Uncle Edgar had. I found a dece3nt looking one in a price range I could afford a few years ago, nad was seriously considering adding it to my Ih tractors, until I started to climb on it and realized that with my health problems (2 artificial hips and back problems) Getting on and off it would be a real challenge. So much for that dream.

The Mennonite that I get my seed corn from has several crawlers. He said he guessed that made him a collector. He says that when you buy something because you want it,not because you need it,that makes you a collector.

yea another john deere 730 diesel had 1 sold it i couldn't afford to get it fixed. didn't matter what i was needing to do that was the tractor i used.
second would be a cockshutt 50. i have a 40 deluxe it might see some hay baler time this summer.

You all may remember me saying I Would like a cub with cultivators,,been saying it on here for a long time ,,dont need it ,,just like to dream a bit I quess,,,lol

Yes, I always find myself looking for more tractors. Though don't need anymore.... at last count up to around 20 and only 10 or so run, and most of them need some work done on em to run better.

Just last month(and some time previously) I was browsing CL. I was looking but not really looking for a different loader tractor, because I would love to replace that green thing we have....Any way found a Farmall 656 with a loader, perfect for my needs, so I found my self "stalking" that posting till it wasn't there anymore. I didn't want to steal the trailer and drain the check book or I would of went and got it.
