Some Drone Video of me Seeding

Very nice . I like the job that one pass tillage/planter does . While you have had great planting conditions
, about the only thing worse that we could have been having is possibly snow . Constant rain has put
planting the farthest behind in the Great Lakes area , that I can ever remember, or have even heard of. Just
to make things worse , next week is forecasted for rain and showers all week . I have never heard of any one
planting oats or barley after the first of June before , but I think I may give it a shot this year . Bruce

(quoted from post at 06:03:21 05/26/17) Your lucky in California they would have you in jail for damaging wetlands. Great video

Just the opposite here, the wetlands are damaging our ability to make a living. That quarter used to have 128 seedable acres when I started farming it in 1989. As of today I planted 65. The rest either under water or unaccessible due to water.

I forget just where you are Bruce but I have no worries about planting oats well into June here in Sask. There is some risk of an August frost damaging it but the past few years we have not had a problem.

(quoted from post at 15:49:28 05/26/17) Impressive. Do you harvest in the same fashion ?
Yes and it is fields like that you can see the advantage of a self propelled combine over a pull type. I've run both and with all those corners the pull type just can't be efficient. It loses so much time turning. Its the only ground we have to work with and we make the best of it.
