Ferguson TO-30 Steering problem

Hello everyone,
I am preparing to re paint my ferguson and in the process of taking the steering rods off to paint them, I accidentally pushed the arm that connects the rod to the housing too far up and now my steering is locked up. I know it's a simple mechanism in there but I can't figure out how to fix it without taking the whole steering box out, which is a nightmare. What's happening is when I turn the wheel, the arms that come out of the steering box seem to be caught on something and won't budge. I'm sure the gears got disengaged but I have no idea how to fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

You'll probably get more and better answers if you post your question down on the Ferguson forum, BUT, in the meantime: on both sides of the steering box, there's a locknut and an adjusting screw for the steering sectors. Loosen the locknuts, and back off the adjusting screws until you can move the steering arms.
Check the Ferguson forum archives for more detailed instructions on adjusting and timing the steering arms.

(quoted from post at 12:58:22 05/17/17) That worked! I loosened those nuts and everything fell into place. Thank you so much!
Glad to help.
By the way: it took a full SIXTEEN MINUTES from the time I posted until you reported back that it worked - what took you so long?
