Talked to nephew in ND last night. He will finish seeding wheat today. Still has 21 cows to calve yet; he expects about a dozen to calve in a few days and the others will string out for another month.

Here in my neighborhood corn planting is pretty much complete with 90% emerged out of the ground.

Beans are about 80% planted with a few emerged.

I got done yesterday with beans and switched the planter back to corn to replant a couple of acres that had drowned out in a low spot.

All pre-emerge spray is on for me as well.

Saw a lot of sprayers running yesterday in 25 mph winds. Not good.

Sounds like you are ahead of the game, Gary. Around here most farmers are behind because of weather conditions, mostly cool, wet spring. Hay crops look good. It's amazing what a combination of rain and heavy nitrogen application will do.
