Pair-a-dice farm or anyone else with WW chutes

I came across this chute. Guy says it's solid(no floor issues or anything). Other than that he doesn't know anything about it. He's asking $2500. Used chutes seem to be outrageous around here. Any options on this one? Looks nice from what I can tell, but I have no idea how big of animal it will handle. I email WW some pics of it and asked them about the model number. They told me it was the standard beefmaster and that they were made from 88-98. Said a new comparable model runs around $4600. It appears to have the swing type head gate and I don't know if I'm sold on those yet. Any opinions??

There some at the Powell consignment sale in Campbellsburg, Ky May 20. You may save some money. I don't know how far away you are. It is at exit 34 on I71. About 100 yards off the interstate.

That looks similar to mine. Mine is the extra long beefmaster model with the palpation cage. They are a good system and are heavy enough that we can catch mature bulls for a fertility test. I bought mine 4-5 years ago, I believe I paid $4800 and some change. That seems a pricey but it looks like it's in pretty good shape. I guess it boils down to is a new one worth twice as much to you.
