Tractor show (pics)

The club I'm in had it's May show at the Old Moravia Store in Lavaca County. It is normally a good size show but there was a large estate auction and about 1/2 the members were there. Still some interesting tractors. First pic is my recently finished '54 NAA, my son's '58 MF65 on the right and my cousin's 60ish MF 50 on the left. There was a French built IH with a sickle bar, a couple of Pasquale's, a JD M which was a ag mechanics project, and a Massey Harris Pony with a push blade. Fellow YT'er DCARP stopped by taking a break from his custom baling work.

Hay thanks for sharing the pictures. It is always nice to see the ones that are not restored yet like still in the plan working conditions. It is also nice to see those that have been all restored to. the Allis Chalmers what model is it.

Always enjoyable to visit with you, John. Great job on the NAA, it looked really good. There were a number of things going on in the area, such as the estate auction and a tractor pull. Think they all helped to reduce the crowd.

I had spent the morning spraying hay fields as Saturday was the 1st day in 3 weeks the wind wasn't up. Found 1 of the fields I lease completely covered with Black-eyed Susans, spread in a pattern. The landlord is not very popular here, so I guess someone thought they were hurting him.

PASQUALI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, how I miss my little tractor. I had worked it to death a few years back and had planned on restoring it. Unfortunately, it was on the trailer load that rolled over a couple years back, and now stuck 1,100 miles from home.

Wow, that first one is amazing! Looks like it's straight off the cover of the owner's manual, except for having the wider tires.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for the pics!!!!

That's hat mine was - a 986. Dad bought it from Southern Tractor in Houston. He always hated the thing, but I loved it! Replaced the PTO bearings one time, fixed the clutch cable (several times!), but I finally ended up giving it to a feller in Arkansas on the promise that he and his son would try their best to restore the old girl. Speaking of, I should contact some time and see how things are going.

Many, MANY hours and memories on that li'l rig!!
