Rust inside carb update

Some had suggested I buy a new carb. I had some time yesterday to try using rustolum rust remover. I let carb soak for half hour. All the rust gone. Rust remover didn't remove any aluminum or brass jets on carb.

Carb works.

Thought I would pass this along and let some know I don't spend all my time with batterirs. LOL.

One tractor I had had a cast bowl and I used a Harbor Freight and held sand blaster gun with baking soda in it. Cleaned the inside and outside up like new

That must be a product like navel jelly. I wonder if they still sell it ?
Does the bottle say safe on aluminum ?

Mike,
Who reads the directions on a bottle?
I figured I had nothing to lose. Was planning on trying to find another carb and I already had the rust remover which I used on rusty rims. So I soaked it for 30 minutes, rust gone. No sighs of aluminum damage or damage to brass main jet. It just reduces the iron oxide back to iron. Great stuff. Try it next time you want to get rid of rust. I picked this up at Wally world.
