I have a 1964 Suburban 725. I can't keep it in gear. It keeps jumping out unless I hold it in. Any ideas?

From the on line info, it has a CVT (continuously variable Transmission). These change ratios when the
control lever friction device gets slippery and fails to keep the drive shives in place. Some parts are
available. Jim

The F-N-R lever has to click over center in F. On the right side of the tractor below the seat there is an adjustable pulley which needs adjusted. I can't tell you the proper procedure because I have lost my owner's manual. You might otherwise wear the ears off the shifting fork and I have never seen that part offered by the salvage people on ebay.

Is the clutch popping out of engagement or a chain slipping? A worn clutch or a
clutch out of adjustment is common on the Bradley 725. Sears has not sold new facings
for years but they can be made. OEM Sears number for the facing was 9552M.
