Stink-in rodents, every now and then one of these &#$!* things spends time in a cab. That lingering smell I can not stand. Any good way of getting rid of the smell?

Natures Miracle works pretty well. No perfume jazz. It is an enzyme product and this will break down mouse pee. Might take a few sprays to break it all down. Mouse is the absolutely worst. There are some threads on U'tube about skunk smell and such. 5hey use hydrogen peroxide and baking soda and lemon juice or some other magic element. Go look around on U'tube for any hints. Try the natures first. Final thing when you finally knock it down, use Real Fabreez. Dont use after market crap.

If you have a NAPA store close to you they have a spray can called OZIUM. Borrowed and old front end loader from a friend a few years ago that the mice had lived in the heater, smelled terrible. About three applications of OZIUM over a few days took care of the smell.

I think you have to burn the truck! Had them in the walls of cook stove oven years ago. Ran that thing at 350 for days (probably wasted enough electricity to buy another one!) and still 10 years later some visitor will tell me they small it when heated.

Odo-Ban works pretty good. Available at Sam's Club and Home Depot, as well as other stores. It's a concentrate that you mix with water.

First thing to do is thoroughly clean the interior of the cab. Get rid of the droppings, otherwise nothing is going to be 100% effective.

If I eat lots of cabbage. Nothing can get near me for a week. I have had good luck with orange juice. Over the spot.Fresh right out of the orange.

Thanks guys for all the great suggestions, funny some of those ideas never crossed my mind and I bet most of them work, LOL. Rod.

Rod........used to work with a guy we called a slum landlord. He'd burn an ashtray of yellow garden sulfur and gitt ridd of ALL the smells that were so STRONG, they'd bring tears to yer eyes. Don't think you'd wanna do that in yer pick'em-up, but "FreeBreeze" dryer sheets should help ya out. Don't think you could gitta CAT to stay in the cab either. .........the amazed Dell

Wad up a bunch of old newspapers and put them in there for a week or two or three, they will absorb the odor. You'll want to burn them when the job is done! :)
