I'll be glad when they get done burning the Flint Hills down in Kansas! Maybe I'll be able to breath again.
As bad as the smoke is here in southeastern Nebraska, I don't know how the people in northeast Kansas can stand it. Unless the heat from the fires causes the smoke to lift straight up, and then when it cools in the atmosphere it comes back to earth after drifting north.
Before we went out this morning my wife commented on how foggy it was. It wasn't fog, it was smoke from Kansas.
