Reminds me of when the neighbor came over to show off his new Farmall M left it running by the barn went in to get grandpa. When he came back he didn't see his tractor. I looked down the hill at the pond all you could see was the top of the stack and the top of the steering wheel.

I thought I had a bad day yesterday when I drove my tractor into my shop and ran over my planer. Brakes are shot and I couldn't get it out of gear quick enough.

Looks like there was a clutch issue? Appeared like he was trying to get it out of gear and couldn't?

That's how I saw it also. Never heard of the tractor brand before. Apparently Sonalika tractors are made in India. This appeared to be a 90hp?

Sure is a tough way to get new tires. *lol*

What you say is very true - "stuff" can happen fast. It is easy to think through all the "should have done's" when viewing a video like this but to be the person who only has a few seconds to consider his options and take action while facing a potentially deadly situation is very different.

Happened not far from me a hired man was driving a white went to shift down and nobody told him it would free wheel anyways it was a full load at a t in the road when he came over and shifted down it took off when he tried to shift back he killed the motor and he tried to keep it straight finally bailed out and landed on the only rock pile the tractor went in the creek it also had a load of seed beans and the d.n.r got involved.
