Anyone know of a source for kits or parts to convert a larger garden tractor to power steering?

Unless it's hydrostatic could you find an electric
power steering unit?

There are threads on that topic on Weekend Freedom Machines.
Brantley used to sell a kit.
You could use parts from an older minivan.
Finally, you could use the pump from a small car with the steering column from a combine or forklift with a cylinder.

There's typically several DEERE 318 hydrostatic steering columns on ebay at any given time and lots of info on the 'net from guys that have used them to convert other hydro tractors to PS. Could be used with a separate pump, as well.
