IH 584 Hydraulic problem

Hello, I have an international 584 that has a hydraulic problem - it exhibits a hydraulic noise and the hydraulic oil over heats. The tractor functions fine. I have tried to isolate the problem by bypassing the steering and 3 point linkage circuit so I'm fairly certain the problem is in the main valve block. I have replaced the hydraulic filter. The problem only started after the machine was split to reseal the Torque amplifier - I suspect something didn't go back together correctly or some debris got dislodged and is now blocking a valve.

Any assistance in diagnosing would be appreciated.

I am ivor from uk and I used to work at main IH dealer and I remember something similar with a 784 but I cannot remember how it was fixed other than someone was underneath tractor undoing a connection and someone was inside the tractor starting with throttle shut off and running it only for 2 seconds this got rid of air in system... I cannot remember what connection was slackened

I don't have my book for them anymore but I think the 3 point
was last in the circuit. If everything else works normally it has
to be the last user in the loop. I think that's the 3 point.

Thanks Ivor, I would have thought the air would cause other issues and the machines hydraulics wouldn't function correctly.
