hoping for some advice, last fall purchased a used Kubota L245DT(1981)worked great ,stored it in a dry clean garage for the winter, this weekend i went to my lot to do some work, plug the tractor in and charged the battery, tractor started up allmost right away,But when it started it roared like it was full throttle,i leaned over to check the foot throttle, and my foot came off the clutch(tractor was in neutral)and the tractor shut down.now all it will do is roll over, will not start, wondering if i triggered some kind of safety switch.??

When a diesel s running short of fuel revs will usually go up as well as down. Diesels have no ignition system to worry about, and that tractor, I am pretty sure, has a manual fuel shut-off so any safety would have to work by preventing cranking. A very nice thing about diesels is that most problems are solved by replacing the fuel filter, and since that is also the easiest thing to try, I suggest that you start there.

Do you have an owners manual ? If not then go to this site for a free down load for your tractor..
http://kubotabooks.com
Click on the Tractor Owners Manuals (51) and then on the one labeled L245F (also contains your L 245 DT)
It has the wiring diagrams for the electrical system.
