$2,300 for a patched block, non-running M sounds way too high, even with good rubber. Where were they when I sold a very good running one with good rubber 8 years ago for $1,200?

scrap around central va. sells for .03 a pound , I just looked it up after reading your post . unbelievable what you get at an auction .

Yes,that would have been high for a 1940's M....However,mostly original first year 1939 M's arent easy to come up with..This one could have been made to run by cleaning the carburetor-etc.

There are several very aggressive scrap buyers in eastern Kansas that always pay over market prices...
Just 3-4 years ago they paid $300-400 a ton at some sales..

If the JD 620 runs as good as it looks someone made a great buy at ----$1800!

My neighbour purchased a JD 620 looks very Ruff...had to install $3,500.00 in parts to make it Field ready!

Thanks for posting pictures .

From what I heard yesterday I will have a huge sale to attend in April..Lots of old stuff on it..

What I got out of this was "seat time". How many 100's of thousands of hours have guys and gals been in the seats of these relics considering present and new conditions. LOTS! Speaking personally, just a few thousand. I don't even register on the scale. Humbling!

Thanks for pics, I enjoyed, that was a neat auction for sure, would have bought that 400diesel, and baler price wasn't bad, do you know what the CaseIH 3650 baler brought? thanks again!
