In southwest ohio...

I'll bet you've been poking around the Internet and already have a better idea than most of us. Anyway, for comparison, I just bought a 1994 Ford 455D with ROPS/FOPS which is roughly the same vintage and paid the asking price of $9200. This is NW Ohio. 2WD, no Extendahoe, everything works (so far as I can tell except for minor stuff) 4800 hours, new rear tires. Case = add value, FWD = add considerable value, Extendahoe = add value, no cab = subtract value. If you haven't seen this GovDeals aution yet you may want to watch. Low hour 580K, but 2WD and cab, no Extendahoe.

If memory serves, Dad picked up a 580 Super K at auction probably 12 years ago @13 or 14,000. Cab 4x4 extendahoe 2k+/- hours Good Rubber & brakes etc. Ran Great had no problems put it to work and it needed nothing. Pretty fantastic backhoe. Started great below freezing, which was surprising.
