Many posts about SS on YT. Found this an interesting read. Thought I would pass this along. Like article said, when to draw is different for many. I waited for my full benefits and I have to pay Fed income tax on mine, but SS said I could return to the work force and not be penalized. Well isn't paying a Fed tax on SS enough reason not to return to work and pay more taxes?

I never understood the disability rule. When I turned 65. They said I was no longer disabled just on SS. Nothing changed but my rating.

Disability payments come from a different trust fund than retirement payments. A disabled person who reaches retirement age is converted from disabled to retired to change the payments to the other fund.

Yup for $149 you will get two years of advice and three "free" guides on how to get the information social security will provide you for free . But he is only looking out for the little guy. Might be some useful advice but I will keep my $149.

I just went back and looked, the link took you to page 6 at the bottom :If you want to know more click on the link: It was deceiving making me think I had to click on the link to see all of the 5 myths when all I had to do was click previous page to back it up.

I learned I can remarry after 60 and draw off my wife not that I am look'N tho unless she has more money than I can spend. :wink:
