Windmill towers

I have been looking for a 40' windmill tower for a while now. Seems some areas you can still find them and others they are just history. Anyone have one they would like to sell? I would consider a complete unit, but really only need the tower. Putting one up next to my house is on my bucket list. I have been saying this for 20 years and this year I have vowed to make it happen. Original house burnt and the windmill was lost. Always thought the windmill next to the house gave the farm character. Al

Where are you , Al? I've got a 36 foot tower with a working AeroMotor that should be removed. I just haven't had the heart to do so...

New are very easy to get but pricy. The Amish put them up all the time. One friend I was at had a tornado destroy his just a half hour after I left and did not know about the storm till quite a while later after he had a new tower up. It came through just high enough off the ground the tower was the only thing the storm hit and when it went down it fell on his shop damaging a small part of the roof. Had to put the new fan on as well, think the motor was OK.

Can you use those wind mills to pump from the in side of a diked in farm for flood water
