Former co-worker of my wife burned out Tuesday, last week. Was an old farm house, went awfully fast, total loss. No insurance, as they had wood heat, and no one would insure the place. (actually it was the pellet stove that got them, not the wood stove.
Anyway, someone has started a gofundme page for them. Wife would like to make a contribution.
Exactly how does it work? How do you make a contribution? (I assume by credit card.)
Is the system fairly secure? Does the recipient get the whole donation, or is a chunk scalped off the top
for the gofundme operators? How much?
Anyone had direct experience with this kind of thing?
