Here is our version of a home made manure spreader built out of a Ford Ranger rear axle, some scrap iron, and some splined couplings from Agri Supply.
If and when we sell the 7 acre farm in Maryland, where our 8N is cutting some fields, we will transport the 8N to North Carolina, and have a proper tractor to pull our Millcreek manure spreader. For now, we are using our home made PTO, with either a Skag or a Ferris zero turn. The rig works way better than one would expect. It might not do for some of the genormous spreaders that you folks use, but it does just fine for our needs. Here is a picture.
