Tractor rims?

My ford 1720 rim rusted threw, my friend is gonna weld it up for me, but I went to the tractor salvage yard today, found a pair of 12.4x24 rims and tires not loaded, they will only sell them as a pair, anyone guess what they want for them?

Traditional farmer was the closest, they told me $800 for both rims and tires, I guess that's not to bad for good rims with good tires on them, so I have to decide to fix mine or get these and have a spare, set of tires.

What did Jeff offer you for your old ones. I like to dicker with them.
I got to go down and see what they have for 10.oox16 tractor fronts to put on my wood hauler trailer that I built. I need the circumference and load capacity of that size.

I dident offer mine to Jeff, as my friend said he would weld it if I wanted, we stoped to look at a artsway grinder my friend was looking at, so I thought I'd look for some rims and see how much for them. I'm suprised they wouldent separate them.

I seem to do better with Jeff than Jimmy. I sold some hay there once. I was coming over the Molly Stark trail in Vermont on my way to Jimmy's and at the very top I met a pick-up pulling a trailer load of hay. Just over the crest there was about ten bales in the road. I stopped quick and got maybe seven. Somebody else got a few. It was beautiful second cut and it was mid winter. Well I got what I was after at MacFadden's and there was a guy had just loaded a motor and no way to hold it down. He asked if I would sell him some hay and I sold him four for $30.00. 100% profit! I would say you got a good deal on those tires and wheels.

If you don't care about original looking check out the single loop 24" rims,someone has them on ebay brand new for $129 each.I put a set on a MF 220 that had the same style rims you have.
