Steiger Tractor

Just wanted to share this picture I have. This is my great grandma, Marion Myers, christening the first Steiger tractor produced by the new plant in March 1975. She was the steel buyer for Steiger from 1969 until 1982 I believe. I also have the plaque she received for this. I'll see if I can get a picture of that later.

That's COOL! I toured the plant with our highschool FFA chapter in '75 or '76. That sure was a LLLLOOOONNNNGGG time ago!

Great photo, thanks for sharing. It reminds me of that scene from caddy shack where the judges wife breaks the front of the sail boat off while christening it!!

Yea but the only thing left to do is put the wheels on and close the hood. Had she tried christening it on the tires it would have bounced back and hit her on the noggin.
