It's been Too Warm Here

Here in Highland, IL it's been unseasonably warm. High 60 to mid 70's the last week or more. My apricot tree is trying to bud out and bloom. I suspect they will freeze out this year. Some farmers are ripping their ground already too.

A week of 60plus here along the Western shores of Lake Michigan. Coworker says his Grandfather has declared the tree fruits severely damaged already. I see some bud movement in the vineyard, but grapes are more resilient than the trees, so we still have a chance for a solid crop. After the bumper crop lat year, my plants could use the break. Plus, the insurance is paid in full...

I heard it is warmer here than Phoenix.

Agreed. Here in Central Virginia we've had 5 days above 70 this month with the same forecast Friday and Saturday. Unfortunately we've combined it with dry conditions.
