Tractor tube, does this matter?

My 1720 ford with a 12.4x 24 tire rusted threw the rim at the valve stem, the calicum leaked out over a week ago, in order the get it out of the barn I put air in the tire expecting it to leak right out, well it's still holding air today, I filled it Saturday. I need to either fix the rim or find a used one, So i ordered a new tube for it and when it came today I see it says for bias ply only? I have Firestone r-1 radials, does that really matter radial tire or bias ply for the tube? I really don't want to send it back. Thanks for any info.

In the automotive world, bias play tubes can't take the constant flexing that radial tires have. As for ag tires, I don't know.

Maybe, depending on the way you use it. Neighbor couldn't keep any tubes in his radial tires on his big tractor. Radials are much better tubeless. On my one tractor with big radials, two of the rear tires have tubes, two are tubeless. So far, so good. I put tubes in the older front radials when they got so they wouldn't hold air, but that's probably a short term thing.

jay do not put a bias ply tube in a radial tire. The flexing of the tire will destroy it in a short time. been there seen it too many times.
