My best friend that goes to tractor shows with me has been after me for 30+ to take her on a cruise in the Bahamas, since this was the year of our 40th wedding anniversary,seemed like a good time to go. probably the best vacation we ever had. I couldn't have ordered anything better than it was. one regret, shoulda took her along time ago. after putting up with me all these years she's more than earned it. Hope we get to go again on our 80th!

I'd have to be reborn to look like a beach bum....I like being and looking like a tractor guy too much.....when I see people in the summertime come to church in shorts and flip-flops I want to puke. To put it plainly, I wear flip-flops in the house....period. That's the way it is with this old tractor guy...

The island behind us actually belongs to Mick Jagger. I don't know if he was there or not, but if he was, l guess I got a picture of him. The next time probably won't be 40 years and I might take one pair of shorts, no matter how white my legs are. There was a bunch of em probably shoulda been covered bettern they was. As far as shoes, heard to many stories about broken glass on the public beaches which is where we was. Beautiful place. Nassau was where we were at. DP

This year my wife and I will mark off 35 years. I told her that I was going to go some place warm and sandy , and that she could come too , if she wanted .
Farthest south either of us have ever been was last fall , in Gettysburg. Nice , but not tropical.
Sure looks like you folks were have a nice time .

Google it!!! Then come to Oakley on a Saturday and look for guys wearing them. Only about one in a hundred wearing anything but long jeans and work boots. I will be one of the guys in shorts and flip flops.

True story though, many years ago I was out working in July and I started feeling a little funky...then a lot worse...then I dropped and was sick. I had heat exhaustion and since then I do NOT do well in heavy clothes in summer. Took me a while to get over it. On hot days I dress accordingly although now that I have access to a pool again I think the worries are moot.

WOW! Thanks Tom! Sure would be nice to take off for someplace like that. I've got two months to go here and I'm already ready to punch somebody. I usually don't get this cranky until mid March.

Go now! My wife and I had just started traveling (other than camping trips) when she was diagnosed with breast cancer and after 9 years of struggle and complications she was gone about a month short of our 44th. This was after her second chemo in 2005. I wish you many more years together and many safe travels. jy
