30-60 Aultman Taylor water pump

My Grandson has a 1918 30-60 A T that he is starting to get ready for it"s 100 birthday party. It needs the Water Pump rebuilt, Any body know of a shop that can rebuild it? E mail me or call 812-963-6108. I have bought a new old stock radiator for the A-T, It weighs 460 lbs. THANKS

What kind of problem are you having with the water pump?

I don't know how that one is made, but most pumps of that era were not like the modern pumps with a bearing and seal.

They had bushings and string packing. Possibly all it needs is some grease and some packing string added and tightened to stop the leak.

If it needs bushings and/or a shaft, may be something a machine shop could do.

The water pump has a big gland nut and is packed with string packing, my opinion is the shaft is worn so bad that when we have tried packing it, it still leaks. THANKS for your ideas and suggestions.
