I have a old 1968 Ford 3000 diesel tractor. Wanted to ask if anyone on the forums here ever used hot shots secret in their tractor?

At work we have a display of this stuff and use it mainly in the 6.0 and 6.4 fords but curious if the diesel extreme and or everyday diesel treatment would be fine for tractor use?

Both products help to control moisture as well as clean your fuel system but only the everyday treatment has a booster.

So what is everyones opinion on this? My tractor sits quite a bit from time to time so looking at some additives i can use to help keep the tractor running smoothly.
 
I bought some biocide last year, and add a little as recommended, I think most diesel has some Bio in it, and that is more
prone to bacteria growth. I add 1-2 ounce of 2-stroke oil to the fuel with every 5 gal of diesel, just for pump lubrication. I
have some ani-gel but very seldom use any as I buy treated fuel as early in the winter as it's available. I'm sure some will
say this all is not necessary but my opinion is it's cheap insurance. I have seen what it costs to rebuild a pump!
 

Most guys like the 2 stroke oil in the old diesels, to keep from having lubricity problems due to the ultra low sulfer.
 
I have used hot shots secret in my truck only. The bottle I
have says it is a semi annual formula. So only twice a year.
When it's real cold out I use stanadyne additive. Lucas oil
also makes a thicker additive label as "fuel injector cleaner
and fuel conditioner." But I do not believe it is intended as a
cold weather additive.
 
Hi, I use Howes fuel conditioner and about 2 oz of
2cyc engine oil with TCW3 additive in it to 5
imperial gallons of diesel. Never had a fuel

I use Power Services Products in my sealed 55 gallon storage tanks, which keeps the fuel fresh and works on the injectors and all when
burned in my 4 diesel tractors including the '65 3000 Ford.
