Treactors in Hawaii??

Anyone know of any old farm tractors in Hawaii my folks are going there for their anniversary and I'd have them go search around for me lol. Just came to mind when they where talking about it.

There was a guy, years ago, who had 2 or 3 Internationals, I think W4s or W6s that were used on, I think it was a mango farm, and I also remember one guy contacting me about an I4 that was used on a pineapple farm.

When I was on Maui a few years ago, the central part of the island was a large sugar cane farm. There were a couple old tractors by the plant or maybe it was a museum.

Mike I have spent quite a bit of time on all the islands there. The large sugar cane and pineapple operations are about a thing of the past. Most or a lot of what is left farming there is done with tract type tractors or dozers. Cat is still pretty strong on the islands. Large cattle ranch one Hawaii or the big island.. Enjoy your trip.

We ran across a few sitting beside the road on the north shore of Oahu....not that old, but they looked old

I have traveled nearly every road in all the Hawaiian islands and also have covered them in a helicopter and anything that I have seen in the way of tractors to restore need to be left right where they are. I have seen nothing that I would take as a gift if they were accross the road and these were five thousand miles away.

Is there any actually crop farming out there?I have heard that seed corn companys would due the hybred breading because they could get two crops a year? Any truth here> What about produce, any raised? If any agriculture land how much and what places?
