Tractor tires new

Noo Yawk is a big place. It might help if you got a bit more specific. Northern tier? Southern Tier? Downstate? Central? Western? How about a county or two or three that are in your vicinity? Most rural tire shops will carry ag tires. Your local dealer can probably help you pick out ones that work best for your tractor and local soils and your intended uses. I know mine does.

If you can't find any place in NY to get tire try M.E.Miller tire out of Ohio. They would most likely have what you need and will ship them to you.

The only thing that will look like a Firestone field and road is a Firestone field and road. They won't be cheap.

If you're in Western NY, W Glenn Sedam Tire in Perry is a Firestone dealer that does ag tires.

Also check out simpletire DOT com.

Hilltop Tire just south of Fort Plain, NY is a Firestone dealer. They also have Titan and other brands. Beckers in Grand Gorge is now Ricks Tire, and they are real good. They do all the tire work here on the farm.

Every tire here does that from the 886 to the JD 8430. The only that doesn't are the OLD babies (Farmall M) that have 40 year old tires on them. New tires are not what they cracked up to be, but what are you going to do?

Well not in New York, but maybe Nebraska. I bought a set of Samson tires for one of my parade tractors. Don't remember where they are made, but it is most likely where you would think for cheap. If you set them side by side with an real set of Field and Road they look like twins. I bought them from Nebraska Tire. The set of tires, tubes and freight were hundreds of dollars less than anyone else in my neck of the woods(Oregon). Since this was not going to be a working tractor I was going for the look, not the quality. I have no idea how well they will hold up to real work.

Wow, that jolted the old memory bank- my gramps dealt with Sedam's for many years, when he had the IH dealership in Cohocton, and the
lime spreading, trucking and farms in Wallace. Sedam's trucks were in the driveway quite often when I was a kid, pretty sure he also got his
drums of Mobil oil and grease from them, too- always great service. There was even one of those old truck tire ashtrays from Sedam's on the
office desk for years

I have used Moore's Tire out of Sherburne. I was happy with the price and service. In 2013 I put a pair of Samson 20.8x38's on my 856. Are they equal to a Firestone? Probably not, but so far they are holding up well. Do mostly hay work and a small amount of tillage. Also do quite a bit of road travel with them.

In 2014 I had Moore's put a set of 18.4x 34's on my 666. These are a Galaxy brand. Same situation as with the 856. These seem to be holding up fine as well.

I just can't justify to buy Firestone's, so these will do for me. My 656 needs tires soon and I will probably call Moore's again. Have to see how the year goes. Take this for what it's worth and literally YMMV.

Also there is Tallmadge Tire in Binghamton if you are closer there.

I found a web site for a tire dealer that is just north of Philadelphia, PA called Simple Tire. They sell Titan tractor tires at really good prices.

Rochester ny is where I'm at I have used nolts in Waterloo they don't have access to any of the off brands that I have heated of that make copy's of the Firestone field and rds , ultimately maybe I'll end of the firestones if I can't find copy's
