Don't rub it in. It is 20F with snow coming down here in central NY. More lake effects snow and 20s for next few days and single digit temps during overnight hrs. until the weekend.
I am however going to send out my preseason Gurney's order though tomorrow.

It's been our history at the last of January to have mild dry weather then get whacked in Feb. and sometimes on into March. With the relief comes spraying wheat for green bugs, top dressing N, and field cultivation for later spring planting.

I feel I am real lucky to live in Iowa, as the saying goes around here, if you don't like the weather in Iowa just wait 24 hours because it will totally change and change and change!!!!

All I can say is; it is 4C +, beautiful blue sky, not a cloud in sight. Downside that means it will go to -5+ overnight. This morning the yard looked like it had snowed : - 5 at 7:30 AM. Hey ! it's February tomorrow - famous for being my birthday (in a couple of weeks).

7 inches snow today central ID. If we get the predicted maximum snow fall it will be about 22 inches by Friday. I'm ready for spring, running out of places to push the snow.

the reply about the ash trees budding kinda got me, ours are all dead here in central ohio from the ash borer

Been a great winter in eastern Canada so far. Almost no snow and not too far below freezing most afternoons ,great weather to get things done inside or out. Had an ice storm last Thursday, still a few thousand without power in parts of NB as there were @350 poles snapped off.
