I bought a drywall hoist at HF this morning.

When I unpacked it in my shop to assemble it, I found it was made in California and the assembly/instruction manual was printed in English only.

Up here the HF equivalent is Princess Auto ..... exactly the same for the most part. Years back, a friend of mine bought one of those drywall hoists from Princess and used it on a major reno he was doing. When he finished, he put it in the local Kijiji (same as Craigs List) and he got $20 more than he paid for it, he had a good laugh about that.
