Near the opening I had always assumed that the tractor going down the road was a letter series Farmall but now I am not so sure. On the left side it seems like there is a flywheel cover like a JD would have. The way the movie is edited for time it is only on the screen for a second or two. Besides that this is a tractor board and the question is about a tractor so why not discuss it. 8N Ford in the shed later in the movie.

Its a Farmall. Look at the axle housings. In the unedited version, you see the entire back of the tractor and can tell. I'm pretty sure it is an H.
That is correct for one of the sceens. 1971 or 72 model with a Tecumseh 8hp engine. Think it was either 26 or 28 deck. I had one that I trash picked and fixed up. Great little machines. Don't remember the CUB mower. That is one of those movies that I can watch one time and then that's enough. There are lots of other movies that I have watched many times and will watch again. Going back two days with Dave saying good by. I kind of wish that I had told him to look at a mov8e on U'tube. DAVID Niven . The movie is Stairway to Heaven. Bomber navigator and master bomber he bails out over the channel without a chute. Watch it guys, gives you a whole new prospective.
