Tractor ride in Virginia

Afternoon to all. I have been pondering organizing a tractor ride in Virginia. I live in Chesapeake ,Norfolk, Va. Beach area. I have ridden three day rides,60 to 70 miles a day, and two hour rides with a pleasant meal following. Tractor rides in the Midwest fill every weekend from Spring through the Fall. I would like to see a 1 day ride around 40 to 50 miles to start with, and see where it goes. Plenty of breaks along the way certainly makes the day, and it gives folks a chance to chat and share there passion of tractors. I'd think wandering across the bridge-tunnel, up the peninsula, Williamsburg, then across a James River ferry, then wandering down the roads, be a lot of fun. Might find a few taverns in Wsb. for lunch.

I doubt they'd let a tractor ride thru any of the tunnels they have enough traffic problems as it is now.
