Busy day yesterday! Drove up and met with the seller of the two bins I have been discussing. We agreed on a price and I left him his deposit. They need to come down this Spring after planting and before hay hopefully. Then I drove back to my place and fired up the combine and tested out some things I have not tried before...another story.

So I have to come up with some bin jacks. There was a tentative offer to loan me a set, but I cannot reach the fella. May have changed his mind and that is not a problem...his tools and always a worry when you loan stuff. Anyone know where I can find some in lower Michigan? Rent, loan, buy, make. I don't care. Looking for a solution and that's what you guys do best! Any help?

My brother had a set, but he gave them to our nephew when he retired. Nephew still uses them to add rings or repair some old bins that are rusted on the bottom ring.

Zooks in alto I'm sure have some. They sell/build/ Grain bins and legs. Not sure if they rent them or not. Might be worth a call.

Know anyone close to you that has a Telehandler lift. We had a guy we know that has two of them. He took a small bin down for us and moved a small building for me. Worked good.

All I saw there was jacks for sale. I don't have $3K to drop on jacks I would only use once. Unless I missed something there...

I looked them up and put an email up for them. I'll call if they don't get back to me. Thanks for the lead, much appreciated!

Yes, I sketched out a couple using that site and some others, just confused me cause he said "pdf". Didn't see any of those.
