I have been reworking a JD 4440 I have had for several years. I found a JD 4450 15 P.S. this fall and bought it. So the JD 4440 I ran on the baler was replaced with the JD 4450. This tractor is a late 1982 model JD 4440. It really did not need much but I like them to be SHARP when I sell them. So I went over it with a fine tooth comb. IF anything looked the least little bit off it was repair/replaced. I did repaint it as the fenders had rust on the insides.
I may regret selling this tractor as I have known it its entire life. I am the 3 owner. The first two lived about 2 miles apart. The biggest thing this tractor ever pulled was an 18 foot disk. I have the 9 bolt duals that were sold with the tractor when the second owner bought it. They have the tires that came on the tractor from the factory. So you can tell it was never on the road much.
