Thanks everyone for all the great replies! I learned a lot!

I printed the replies and mailed them to my SIL. She's very old school, doesn't do internet, a true "farm girl"! LOL

I'll see what she wants to do, help her all I can. I'm thinking she'll probably go with the subsoiler, mostly because of the low cost. I looked at them on TSC website, had mixed reviews. Maybe I can find a better quality used one.

I'll keep everyone informed as this progresses!

What might help her is to write down the step-b-step instructions to get onto this site, and somehow get her to a computer, maybe in the library. Once she gets the hang of it, at the free ones at the library, getting all this free excellent advice, she might get hooked, just like t he rest of us.
