How to post video

If somebody can tell me how to do it,I'll post a video of that gate vibrating yesterday. Even if you can tell me how to post it to a site that can be linked to,I'll try it. I'd rather know how to post it from my video file in my computer directly to here though if it can be done.

Shoot. Go ahead and tell me if you can,but I just downloaded the video. It's grainy and you can't get a good idea of what was going on,but I'll post it anyway if I can.

rrlund,

I'm not sure that they ever got around to enabling video posting beyond those that were a few seconds long. Seems like sometime around then, that there was that big site-crash that took them back a few steps.

I think maybe you have to upload your video to youtube... then either post a link to it here (or some embed a youtube video - but I don't know how to do that).

ABOUT VIBRATING STEEL:
Two years ago, a neighbor took down a big yard light that was kind of like a city streetlight. After the top section was removed - we got a bitter cold spell. That steel post was vibrating and clattering like you wouldn't believe. You could hear the racket 3/4 of a mile away - it was LOUD. And the post was vibrating so hard you about thought it was going to come off the base it was bolted to. The top of that steel pole was actually swaying. Craziest thing I ever saw. I took a video of that too... but can't find it, plus I don't have a youtube account.

I forgot to add that when that steel post was vibrating/humming/clangin it was not windy... just a frigid cold day.

It had actually warmed up some yesterday compared to what it'd been.

I don't know what having a You Tube channel is,but as poor as the quality of that video is,if it takes any effort at all to get one,it's not worth it.

Just Google YouTube and sign up, it's free and easy. Once you are signed up you have a YouTube channel. You can set privacy settings much like Facebook to control who sees your stuff. If you link it here you need to set that one on public so everyone can see it. It's very easy and I do all my videos that way so I only need to load it once, then link it So it saves on internet use.
