Block Heater 580E

I picked up a block heater for my Case 580E backhoe (which I should have done in September) I assume it goes in the freeze plug opening near the starter. Am I right?

That will work.
Ideally you want it close to center of block the better.

Just make sure the elements are oriented proper as not to
Touch the block or Cylinder wall. Usually pointed down.

the best type is a tank type one and will heat a lot faster call link_disallowed ask for alrry

Pete, My White has the same engine and that's where the mechanic from Sharon Springs Garage put it. It's always started good just make sure its plugged in for a couple hours works the best.
