On Robin Mead this morning . Weather guy actually said this.If Melissa and Robin was not so cute I would not watch!!

It was mighty stiff at 2 degrees. I had a couple of valves stuck open on the 77 this morning until it warmed up. It really spun over with the starter with no compression on a few cylinders,I'll give it that.

It was -20 F when it was time to start the vehicles this morning. Glad that the roads are such that I could use the 5W20 vehicle instead of one of its thicker-oiled brethren. Still cringe every time I hit a starter when it's that cold. Valves did clatter for awhile, even w/ the thin oiled vehicle.

Friday we're expecting snow, Saturday wind and cold (highs below 0). I don't even want to think about starting up the ol' 3020 to move that snow at those temps.

14 degrees?? That would be a heat wave here after the past week of below 0 temps. I fired up the Perkins diesel powered Massey yesterday at closer to 14 below zero with no hesitation. That 10w-30 Co-op oil seemed to be flowing just fine. Of course the tractor did have the heater plugged in a couple of hours before I tried it.

Thermostat in shop set at 40 degrees. Run it up if I am working there. !&%BTU Reznor takes the chill off the 40x72 in about 20 minutes.

It's a chilly 54 degrees here in s.La.we suffer through oppressive heat much of the year.for me this is the "aahh"time of the year.he!! It was in the low 90's a month or so ago here

Yet another reason to not believe anything that you hear on the so-called "major media."

robin is a doll, we have coffee every morning at 5 am. but oh....secretley i have the hots for jennifer westhoven the business news lady!!! what a babe!!

It never got much above 9 here all day,in Central Ohio, my waste oil burner has been running steady all day...

It was in the teens when I stomped on the starter button in the 35 Chevy truck this morning. That 15-40 just HAD to be close to frozen. Sure is a good thing that six volt battery was none the wiser.
